Here we go...
✨
Our city is a visitor destination, all year long, but now 'till Labor Day, it "bursts at the seams," with visitors. I call it "High Season."
When locals use the back streets, instead of the main streets. And no matter, we have to be watchful for people, who just don't know where they are going. And people who are in a terrible hurry!!! -sigh- -grin-

We have that situation year 'round, being a coastal area. It's called money in our city's pockets!😄
I understand exactly what you're dealing with.
We had the snowbirds when we lived in SW Florida and the population would triple between October and March.
Only difference was they were NOT in a hurry. lol
Especially on vacations, people should slow down! Bu anymore, vacations are about getting bucket list things DONE, and not resting and just looking and enjoying. LOVE the icy header, it is so creamy and beautiful!
As Chief Inspector Fred Thursday would drily caution Endeavour Morse: Mind how you go! xoxo
It is much the same here. My days start early at this time of year. Xx
The lake gets its fair share of visitors during the summer but not enough to cause a problem. Without them there would be NOTHING around here!!!
Tourist season here is a busy time on the roads. It is nice to see people return to the island though.
Oh yes, my sister lives in a similar area.
Hang on.. Labor Day will arrive soon. ;-)
