This topic, is probably a *repeat*.... -grin- About changing seasons.
People are saying they are getting the 'feeling' that summer is fading and Autumn is coming. Not I. Not I. Even though we get lovely bits of nice, sunny days and cooool nights, I know that the heat will return.
((((Oh mercy!! Look at that picture above!!! Isn't that delicious looking?????? I know I will sound pessimistic, but..... If I tried to make it, it would not look like that!!! LOLLLLLL))))
But someday.... That 'something' will be 'in the air.' Everything will look a wee bit different. And then I will know, that I feel as if The Wheel Of The Year is turning and Autumn is around-the-corner.
Change of topic..... "Murder In Provence" is on BritBox and I just love it!!! But there is only one season! -sigh- We watched it once, and later, I wanted to watch it again, which we did. 🌻🌻🌻🌻 The major players are fun at times, and the plots are good. But part of the joy of watching, is the gorgeous Provence scenery. Ohhhhhhhh!!!!!! 💛💛💛💛
As people who can no longer enjoy a glass of wine, because of health reasons, we love it that they are always drinking wine... And preparing food (him).... And eating.... 😋

It's cooled down a bit here but I know Fall is still a ways off for us.
I read an article about August 15-the Fall equinox being the 5th season. It was interesting.

We enjoyed Murder in Provence too. I hope they come out with a new season!
I will immediately put this show on my watch list! We will likely watch the first one tonight! It has been cool here, and soes seem a bit like fall. I am decorating for fall now, as I am so slow that it takes a couple weeks. No, I could never make a pizza look like this either.
That does look delicious and no way would mine look like that either. I saw the first fall leaf today!
We were sitting outside a bit ago and had to come in because it was getting cool. So Autumn is showing itself here, whether I like it or not!

Well, if there is an epitome of street pizza...that picture is!!! (Street pizza is NOT pizza...look up slang for street pizza).
Summer is ending. I know because I have been enjoying fresh garden tomatoes, squash, beans, swiss chard and more. Blueberries, peaches and apples will be next. I don't look forward to cold weather as will be here too soon for me. The cycle of seasons cannot be changed, therefore I accept this cycle.
I really liked it, too. Did you watch Endeavour....Roger Allam was in it, too.
Oh that second picture is how I'd like to see myself...long skirt, living in northern England in a little stone house surrounded by flowers and sheep! Always a dream...ahhh. And the pizza, wow, that does look good!!

I spy Roger Allam in that picture! I love him. He is so great as Fred Thursday in Endeavour! It's still pretty hot here too but the mornings are so pleasant -- except for the humidity, which is off the charts! Haahaaha summer dies hard in this neck of the woods. xoxo
