How about you? Any troubles? If not, how do you see new posts, on your favorite blogs, please?
Our weather is lovely, with sunny days and cool nights. It could make one think of Autumn.... But it is a tease! Hot will be back! -smile-
Are blue skies, puffy clouds, and cooler temps, putting you in a Autumn Mood yet? Some are. And it is fun to contemplate an Autumn Palette. πππ But I also know, I will not be doing that much home decorating. Perhaps it's age... Or whatever..... But I can't 'get into' as much decorating, as once I could.
How about you? Do you still enjoy contemplating your next decorating spree? I hope you do!!!!
Or are you a bit like me? Not enjoying it as much, any more? I hope you are not!!!!!
It is sad to lose any form of Joy!
Perhaps I will give myself a talking to, and try to regain some of my former Decorating Mojo. -smile-

I'm excited for Fall to come. I love to decorate for all the holidays/seasons. I don't do as much as I used to but still enough to feel cozy.
Blogger has frequently been giving me grief.
Well, I can tell you, we have been staying with our friends since April and the talk is our house will be done by the end of Oct. (ha!) ---anyways, I have always liked and enjoyed seasonal decorating...perhaps this yr not so much...due to the death of our son, moving a 1,000 miles, staying with friends and pretty much an upheaval of life...but it is what it is. We shall see, I will simply be happy to be in our home by Christmas. AND it will be like Christmas when we start unpacking etc...because honestly, we were in such severe depression/sadness and such, I simply don't remember what we have, what we sold, or gave away etc. Just keeping it real...and as for the blog, etc...I have not a clue...I am hardly on during the week, smiles.
Wishing you a beautiful week ahead, my friend.
I ADORE your sweet drawings!! And according to your header, you may be drinking maple flovored coffee right now! It is cool here, too! Yesterday I drug all my fall decorations up from the basement. UGH, what a job! Now during the week, I can gradually decorate.
I've never decorated for different seasons and holidays except for Christmas. I just surround myself with all the things I like and just change what I have out around every now and then.
I use the blog list gadget which I put under the posts and just click on blogs when they are updated. Have never had any problems.
We've been having great weather but have been all summer. We don't get those very hot days here.
I was having trouble with only one blog and it has since come right, thankfully.
Seasonal decorating is not a "big thing" here and I have often admired (and, dare I say, envied?) American housewives and their ability to change things with the seasons. I make a few token changes but that is all. One day, I imagine shops here will decide it is another way they can make more money and start stocking stuff and advertising like crazy. (Sorry about my cynicism) I hope you enjoy any changes you make, Have a happy day :)
Decorating is not something I embrace. I tend not to decorate for the season but enjoy those others do.
You find the cutest pictures!
I'm not ready to think of Fall, mainly because I hate to think of what comes afterward.
I use Feedly to follow blogs. I enter in the ones I follow, and every day it will give me a list of posts that have been put up that I haven't seen yet.
I'm all about Halloween and the fun stuff around my house at that time. Yes, I try to put out things to break the monotony of same ol', same ol'. I DO know I go overboard for Halloween & Christmas tho. Still, it's fun.
I have my favorite blogs bookmarked and check in once a day. My routine is check blogs, check local obits, check friend activities and be done. NO! I don't want Autumn to come yet! I do want to stay warm. As for seasonal decorating ...a small amount but only because I feel compelled.
I keep a list of all the blogs I read in my favorites on my computer and then I just click on them one by one! I usually have to force myself to decorate (except for Christmas, I'm always up for Christmas decorating!) but once I do I'm glad I did! It can be overwhelming sometimes!
Well, I do always enjoy changing from one scheme to the next! It's refreshing. I don't necessarily enjoy every aspect of it, but I mainly do stuff in the kitchen so it's not really an onerous task. Christmas decorating makes me nervous because whereas I used to look forward to that, now I dread it. It just seems like such a chore! But once it's done, I like looking at it. You are right that it is sad to lose any form of joy. That's a profound thought! xoxo
The decorating gene missed me...and I so love walking into someone's house that is all decked out for the season. However, I always liked to decorate for Christmas, but will admit I do less and less as the years go by. the less I put out, the less I have to put away.
