We have realized that we could not walk all the way across the field, to see the Clydesdales. 15 years ago, we could. Now, no. Gotta' face facts.
And there is that GORGEOUS looking older woman illustration, again. LOL

Oh I just love all of these. Thank you for sharing.
I'm sorry you couldn't walk out to see the horses but it sounds like you have a good outlook going.
Third one down is my favorite!! But all are great. Too bad about the the long walk to see those clydesdales.
I especially love the young at heart illustration. Hope you still managed to get to see the Clydesdales (I love them too).
Well, as Bette Davis once said "Getting old ain't for sissies! I have so many limitations now, have to use a scooter to go thru big stores, can't do steps, etc. Your header and background are BRILLIANT!!
Funny how we keep getting older but still feel the same inside.
I liked all of these!
I stopped putting dye in my hair this year. Best thing ever. My hair is curlier for some strange reason. I will never understand this ageing business. I just do my best to keep moving.
Is it a privilege to grow old? Well I don't know but I don't like it at all. Living in the land of crazy is soooo accurate! It is a totally different world now and sad. Not much to be proud of and tons of things to feel ashamed about. I'll stop now. Gotta find something nice - somewhere!!
PS...this is the first time in months I've been here, visiting, while ON the Computer!! Usually my phone and I don't see your blog layout on phone...it's beautiful!!!!!!
Also...in regards to your comment...Northern Ireland is BRITISH....Republic of Ireland is IRISH
ALL good sayings!
These are good! I can relate to all of them. It is no fun growing old but I am still working at seeing the hope and the light. Some days it's easier than others! xoxo
I could not pick a favorite if I tried.
