Today is supposed to be very hot. So far this morning, it is still nice, with a bit of a breeze. But with the rising of the sun in the sky, things will change. And we'll have to close the doors/windows and turn on the a/c.

It's a day, to take it easy. The eggs are already hard boiled, for egg salad. To be had for a light, cool dinner, with tuna salad and a small green salad.

It's a day to find illustrations, which bring to mind, enjoying summer, in a cool glade. (I just realized! The picture above! It is of a lady bug wedding!!!! 😊)

Humid and hot this week here! Having to close the house up to keep it cool is as bad as closing it up to keep it warm in the Winter! Oh well! Love the ladybug wedding picture! She has a long train!
A ladybug wedding! I had wondered what was going on, and could not figure it out. But my favorite remains the first one. The tiny mice have fallen asleep under the flowers after gorging on picnic food! Yes, already over 90 here. Your dinner sounds better than mine! Every meal you post about makes me drool! Lovely background today!
It's very muggy, oppressively humid here in central NY state. We don't have AC, just a unit in our room, so it's hot in here. I decided to move the furniture and clean under it, and let's just say it wasn't pretty...dripping, is what it was. I don't mind so much but we're having a big party here on Saturday, and SOMEONE has to clean...ugh.
It is very hot and humid here too. However, at work, they keep the air turned high and we are often cold. But then we walk out and melt!

I, too, made egg salad, tuna salad and even experimented with pie dough rolled around thimbleberry jam.That meant turning on the oven! I love the heat and can't complain at all.
Not very hot here but still I'm taking it easy. It is hard for me to stay still!! :)

I'm late to the party and it was sweltering for the last two or three weeks, but there is a wee change in the weather now, especially in the mornings! Almost September! I love it! xoxo
