Both Sides...

Not having grown up with it, I do not fully understand Royalty.

But I can enjoy reading about what the Royals, of different countries, are doing.  A safe hobby...  😊

And I certainly can appreciate people, doing their JOB, whatever it may be.

And doing it well, without complaints.

As Prince William and Princess Catherine do.

(Prince William; "What is this thing and what do you do with it.")  πŸ˜„

What I do not appreciate is Royals, wanting the perks of Royalty, such as living in a mansion with nanny for children, and paid people, taking care of everything, and major security, and titles, etc.

But not doing any Royal Duties.  Spending their time, moaning and crying, about all the suffering they have endured...   And blaming everyone but themselves, for everything.  (Please note her crying 😒, with an expensive Hermes rug on her lounge.πŸ˜’

It would seem that 40 year old people should spend their time, doing something, other than....  Making $$$$$$$ off of television and a book....   Consisting of how other people have wronged them...   And how fate has wronged them....  And how everyone else is to blame for all their woes.

I wouldn’t go to the window to see any of them! Waste of money!

I am right there with you. I really like William and Catherine, and you know how I feel about the other two. Can you say spoiled?

Oh, I agree so completely with you. Charles and Camilla, William and Catherine, Anne, Edward and Sophie, all work so hard filling their needed role in charities and the promotion of everything good in their country. Their relevance to the rest of the world may be questionable, but they certainly set a good example of how to work hard with dignity and grace. Those other two, though ... They are the antithesis of all the English royal family stand for. Like you state so aptly, they need to Grow Up!

I agree! They want, as the song goes, "Money For Nothing". Isn't Catherine's green outfit gorgeous! And so perfect for the event. Wonder about the history of that beautiful necklace?

While it'is just my 2 cents, for people wanting to get away from the craziness of the press and have some sort of normalcy (which is absolutely understandable):

documentaries, tell-all books, and interviews exposing the most personal of things are out of step with the stated goals. And may I just add...telling fibs that were certain to be found out ("nobody knows this, but we got married 3 days before the televised ceremony..." )

Again, just the way I was brought up: Do the right thing.

I have grown up with it, yet I still do not fully understand Royalty :)

I can't comment either way 'cause I do NOT live in their shoes. The saying goes...people who live in glass houses etc. etc.

HA, I so 100% agree with this...and I often wonder, are William and Kate happy with each other? Often the looks they give to each other---and as for Harry and that woman, such spoiled brats, both of them, grow up already, sigh...have a beautiful day friend.

I agree and William and Catherine are wonderful examples of what royalty should be. Diana would be so proud!

I couldn't agree with you more. I turn off the whining and crying when it pops up on television. I can't stand listening to the two of them.

What they do or do not has no bearing on my life and I have absolutely no opinion of any of them.

The Harkles infuriate me! I agree with you on the reasons why.

Yes, it is interesting how some can not take responsibility.

Harry and Me-Again A/K/A Ginge and Whinge, are insufferable. So selfish and fake. I don't know how they can stand themselves! xoxo
