A view....Humid...Reading

A shot out the back patio door, of the rhubarb and roses.  Yes, we used rhubarb and by now, those stalks aren't much good, I don't think.  On the left, is some wet and messy cardboard.  My husband is trying to kill off binder vine/weeds there, by putting cardboard down, to cut off their light.
~~~~~~
And here are the roses again...  I keep showing them, because we don't have much else, this year, to show.   The patio pots aren't looking too good.  The front garden has sort of gone wild.    But happily, I see these roses, from my comfy chair, in the hearth room.   -smile-
~~~~~~
We are enveloped in heat/humidity, now.    And it's not nice.    I'd not have a good time in the tropics, since me-and-humidity don't mix well.
~
Do you notice, that with humid weather, the wash never seems to completely *dry out*?    I wash it, and dry it, and go to fold it, and it still "seems" damp.   -sigh-    Ughhhh....  Oh well, another very little thing, to complain about.

~~~~~~
I am loving this free "The Fussy Librarian"...   This site sends me daily suggestions for Free E-books.    Not every such title, is a winner.    But many are.    And I continue to enjoy the use of this site.
~
During this horrible Wuhan Virus Pandemic Time, I have come to really love E-books on my Tablet.   For the time being, I don't have any great desire, to return to use of our library.   That's just me.   I know, many are so glad, to be able to pick up books, from their library again.
Your roses are beautiful, so nice you can see them from your comfy chair. It's very humid here too, and yes, I do notice the dampness, especially with towels. I used to be an avid reader, I've slowed down and really don't know why. I'm going to visit The Fussy Librarian, sounds interesting to me ~ thanks for sharing! Hope you have a great day.
I love your back yard. Today is horrible. I went outside and thought I had a thick blanket on me because it was so humid.
Thanks for the link for free books! How neat is that! I'm going to have all kinds of fun now. I check most of mine out from the library as ebooks but there's a long wait on the popular books. Enjoy your week! Hugs!
You have a lovely yard!! I have never heard of this online library, I will have to check it out. no library for us either, for a long time. Same with Goodwill. I think there is a bigger chance of catching the virus if you pick up used items. Over 90 here today!!
Oh PS......sorry---I forgot to answer your question about the pants. Nope those were not cotton pants. They were those thick jean like leggings........called "jeggings" i think? They are tight, but stretchy. I don't think you'd like them if you just like cotton. I prefer plain cotton as well. I do wear leggings year round, under dresses in winter to keep my legs warm and i love to wear long tunics all year round, especially in the summer you will see me lots of them. I really love a loose cotton knit legging--NOTHING TIGHT.
