*Sizzzzzzzzzzling* 🌞

Since a lot of us are *sizzzzzzzzzzling,*   🌞   I thought this photo, would be nice.   -grin-   Does anyone remember snow showers, outside the window?  And frost patterns?   And the lovely feeling of warmth, inside the house?  When it's cold, cold, cold outside?  ⛄

I am continuing to enjoy Free Kindle E-books, on my tablet, which I find, in the e-mails from  The Fussy Librarian.   If you don't need "particular" and "brand new" books to read (all the time), this is the place to be signed up, for e-mails.   And no, I am not connected in any way, with this site!!!   Just enjoying, what it gives me.

Another summer meal planned for tonight.    Have to boil potatoes for potato salad.    And boil eggs, for stuffed eggs.  The eggs will be the protein.    Myself, I don't "need" meat every night.    He does, more than I.    But this will be fine, for tonight.

Really *envy* those, who make weekly menu plans.   Somehow, we never seem to accomplish doing this.    -sigh-   So it's always; "What will we take out of the freezer tonight, for tomorrow's dinner????"   -repeat sigh-

Set up, among his smiling flowers

I love this poem, and read it several times. Come to think of it, I think this Covid quarantine would be more tolerable if it were freezing outside. Then we could enjoy the warmth of the house, wear sweaters, and be glad we were inside! For the first few years after we were married, I did up menus week by week. Shopped once a week for everything. But somehow over the decades, that fell by the wayside. I am trying to start it again, to minimize trips to the grocery store. Why is it so hard to start it again I wonder?

I'm also * jealous * of those who make weekly menu plans. I can't keep the scriptures ... LOL
When I see something on offer ... my menu changes again! -sigh-

Hello. I love that picture of the library. I use Bookbub for free and low cost books, but will have to look into the fussy librarian. Thanks for the tip. It's hot here in Utah too, but I am sure glad we no longer live in the Phoenix area where it is supposed to get up to about 117 today. Too hot! I am planning to make potato salad this weekend. We also enjoy it. I am not a great menu planner either so it is good to know I am not alone! Have a great weekend.

Look at that library! WOW! I would want a cot to sleep there! haha! I love books and instead of a dining room in our house...we have a library. Thanks for the link. I'm looking at it and trying to decide about joining! Hugs!

For many years I was an avid menu planner. I would make my grocery list from my weekly menu. Now we just keep a running grocery list onto which we add things that we'll soon run out of.

That library picture is incredible!

Now THAT's a library! I love evenings when it's cold outside but I'm snug beside a crackling fire with a a good book in my hands. Really though, did you have to say potato salad? Now I'm going to crave it.

I have a loose menu for the week. It helps me stay on track!
