Do WE, have to whine, and be victims.......?????

Why do we, ordinary home makers, have to be whining and playing victim?   God know, there is enough of this, whining victim-hood, going on all over, already.  Do we have to do it too?
.
What are we ordinary home makers whining about?    The effects of the Wuhan Virus Pandemic, of course!
.
Yes, this miserable China's-Gift-To-The-World, is horrible and scary and totally disrupting and all those numerous things.     But do we have to sit around our homes, acting like pouting children?    Isn't it time we faced facts?
.
It's here.   It's not *going away.*   For a long time.   So put on our "Big Girl Panties" and get on with life.
.
Remember that we have a roof over our heads and food to eat.    The sun rises in the morning, and sets in the evening.    Crops grow.    Streams flow.    The Seasons continue to change.
.
Can't we put on our masks?   Do our Social Distancing? Find things to enjoy, in our own homes?    Make family contact, in whatever way is open to us?    Make our homes, even more of the Haven, they are always supposed to be?
.
Can't we...?
.
And-Stop-The-Whining...
.
Please!
.

What? You didn't hear me whine now did you? heeheehee! I know a lot of us are tired of not being able to do all the things we like to do but I've been fortunate. Walking in nature has kept me sane. Some of my trails were closed at first and THEN I WHINED! But I found some that were open and it saved me! Love Waterhouse paintings. Did you know I have a few in my bedroom? I have a big Lady of Shallot that is my favorite! Enjoy your day...stay safe and sane.

I SO totally agree! Whining only makes us and others around us feel WORSE! I love this one picture, the woman has made herself dead before she really is! I concentrate on how we have a lovely house, each other, and are both healthy. We have so much more than others, and are SO blessed! Thanking God every day!

Did you hear me whine?
I do not think so! I am happy to feel saved in my house, and happy that my family is healthy!
In the period of lock douwn I did not miss the bios, the restaurants or the gym! Really not !! personal chef, personal trainer and the bios ... a large LED screen of one and a half meters!
What more could you ask for?

First, thanks for the comments on my page and for taking the time to read it. I use my blog for a lot of things, one being jotting down things currently going on in my life and the world around me. This year seems to be filled with a lot and it's easy to fall into feeling anxious but I do try my hardest to focus on the positive through it all. There's still PLENTY to be thankful for. 😄

This is in reply to your latest comment on my page. Not sure you get notifications when I reply to someone from there - No offense taken at all. I didn't see anything you write as criticism. I agree wholeheartedly with you and I try so hard to live exactly that way - positive and optimistic no matter what is going on around us. Thanks for your comments, my friend! Truly appreciated and welcomed. Have a wonderful weekend!!!!!

True. Focus on the positive aspects (and despite it all there are some). Whining - not good. But it is OK to vent sometimes!
Thanks for visiting my blog!
