"T.I.B." "Truth In Blogging" LOL When when was the last time you saw a blog post, with a picture of a pile of laundry, on the table, waiting to be folded?????? 😉 Not in a long time, I'll bet!
On Tues., the leftovers had been consumed and we didn't want to think of something to have for dinner. So we decided on a Gluten Free Pizza. It was kind of late (5:30pm) when I called. And for the very first time, they said that they were so busy, that they could not take Delivery Orders. 😢😯😳
So my husband said: "Let's do a repeat of the snacks we had on Christmas Eve!" Yesssssss!!!!! Brilliant idea!!! So we did that. Complete with ginger ale in champagne glasses! 😋 😋 😋 😋 I said I wanted to take a picture for a blog post. So he had fun, taking time, and doing his plate carefully. Which I took a photo of, above! Mine was not so pretty so I did not take a pic of it. LOL

"Imagine making plans between Christmas and New Years. Imagine wanting to do things."
"It's the period between Christmas and New Years. What day it is doesn't matter. Existence is confusion. Time is a flat circle."
"I have reached that time between Christmas and New Years where my google searches just become variations of "use leftover ham".

We didn’t cook a whole turkey this year so leftovers are a luxury. We are having our main holiday meal on New Year’s Eve.
I LOVE this post. Very creative on your part. I will have to remember to post the unexpected pictures from time to time. I have to admit though, the laundry was one of the last things I noticed. I noticed the candle and the twinkle lights first.
A couple of weeks ago we wanted to order pizza at work. It was a total of 4 medium pizzas that I ordered online to be delivered. I immediately got a call that they were too busy for such a large order. Then a month later I tried to order one medium pizza for us at home and clicked I would pick it up. I got another phone call going on and on about how he was the only person that was there, he hadn't seen the manager, on and on. I politely interrupted him and told him not worry about it. Lack of employees is really hurting a lot of places.
Love the plate of snacks. Too cute. I hope you're enjoying your week!!
Wishing you and your family a very Happy New Year!
Haaahaha I once followed a blogger who showed a huge mountain of packages of toilet paper. I commented that if I ever put such a picture on my blog, folks could just come and kill me. She stopped reading my blog, haaahahaha!!! Which brings me to my point: I don't show pictures of un-done housekeeping because it's not remotely interesting! But I like YOUR picture of unfolded sheets on the table, haahaha! So you do you. Besides, my house is always immaculate, haahaa! xoxo Your beloved's plate, while certainly creative and interesting, does not appear to have much actual food on it! I hope he had seconds. xoxo
I like your idea about taking 'housekeeping' pictures.
I'll do it! :)
This was a great idea, with good healthy variety as well! Yes, in between Christmas and Jan. 1st always kind of feels like limbo to me. What I can see of your kitchen is beautiful, love your counter!!
Oh, unknown from personal experience that so much is left unsaid and inshown in blogging.
Well, the snacks look good and very fancy on the plate! I was just talking with my coworker about what a strange, lazy time the week between Christmas and New Year's Eve is.
I am one who posts silly house content pictures and don't care if my followers like it or not as a reminder to them about how life really is. Yours is wonderful and I love it! Also I bet your husband is a fun guy!
Pizza must be popular just now. I couldn't get hold of any yesterday either, so I quickly made a tomato and mozzarella tart instead. X
Making up an attractive platter of nibbles like the one you show reminds me of holiday meals and taking things easy when a lot of friends visit. And the ginger beer in champagne glasses just adds that little special touch :)
